Most wonderful time of the year.

I love this time of the year, the house is decorated, the kids are happy and jolly, and there are all kinds of sweets baking in the kitchen. It is dificult to choose what is my favorite to bake... decorated sugar cookies, festive cupcakes, or joyful cakes. But this cake is one of my favorites, it isn't over the top, but a simple Christmas light decoration. Sometime with all the crazy going on this time of the year it is nice to have something that is just simple.
